Our Story
VBS Healthcare was founded by a family who knew first-hand how hard it can be to find home care that feels truly personal. After watching loved ones struggle with rushed visits and unfamiliar carers, we set out to build something different — a small, family-owned care provider where every visit is taken seriously and every service user is treated as someone we would proudly support if they were our own family.
From a modest start in Oxfordshire, we have grown into a trusted local team supporting people across Oxford, Abingdon, Banbury, Witney, Bicester, Didcot, Kidlington and beyond. We have stayed deliberately local, because community-rooted care is better care.

VBS Healthcare is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of all health and social care services in England. CQC registration means our care is held to a clear, public standard — covering safety, effectiveness, caring, responsiveness and leadership.
We also train our carers ourselves. Every carer receives a full induction, ongoing development and specialist refreshers from our in-house training team. We never use freelance carers. That is how we keep care consistent, safe and personal.
